JC Metalworks are located in Loughborough, Leicestershire and are experts in precision manufacturing metal parts and finished products from metal sheet, wire and tube for the UK retail POS and display sector. JC Metalworks offer a complete in-house solution for all metal working requirements from design and precision engineering services through to product manufacture, finishing and final assembly.

I was invited to a meeting by their PR company RDZ run by the lovely Rachel Hargrave. Rachel and I talked with the MD and Chairman to discuss how JC Metalworks could be seen in a video which showed the many services that JC Metalworks offer.

We discussed the available areas of manufacturing that would be required to be filmed and whether we should use a professional voice over or go for a more personal approach and use someone talking to camera. We decided to go for the personal approach alas the typical factory background sounds from drilling, punching, welding was clearly heard over the presenter so we all decided to go for a professional voice over to inform the viewer of the services that JC Metalworks offer.

It took several visits to capture what is seen in the finished video due to certain areas not available for me to film on the day such as the powder coating bay. After several versions presented to the MD and Chairman of JC Metalworks version 6 was given the green light and it is this version that went live to the internet on July 13^th 2017.

I am very happy with the finished result as are JC Metalworks and RDZ so now it is time to use the video as part of their marketing strategy and put the video to good use and raise the profile / awareness of JC Metalworks.
