About Me.
I am a 63 year old prominent filmmaker based in Leicester, known for my extensive contributions to corporate and promotional video production. As the founder and managing director of Corporate Motion, a company specialising in high-quality video content, I have managed to carve out a significant niche in the industry. I have personally filmed, edited, and produced over 400 TV-style, internet-based short promotional films, showcasing my expertise and versatility in the field.
My portfolio includes collaborations with numerous high-profile brands such as B&Q, Porsche, Jaguar, Honda, and Subway, as well as media giants like the BBC, ITV, and SKY. Notably, I have produced a 48-minute program for Horse and Country TV, highlighting my capability in handling large-scale projects. I am also a TEDx filmmaker, having filmed three separate TEDx, one being the very first TEDx to be filmed in a prison outside of the USA. My work spans various sectors, from corporate promotional videos to live event coverage and charity projects for organisations like Cancer Research UK, the RAF Association, and the Special Olympics.
In addition to my corporate endeavours, I have a rich history in filming in the music industry, having filmed over 50 bands and artists, including notable names such as Amy McDonald, Supergrass, SWEET and Toyah Wilcox. This experience underscores my adaptability and skill in capturing dynamic, live performances and promotional content for artists.
My passion for filmmaking is deeply rooted in my background, which includes 24 years of service in the British Army. This experience has fueled my interest in historical and military-themed events, leading to my official involvement in filming major events, including the Victory Show, The Yorkshire Wartime Experience, the Battle of Evesham, and the War and Peace Show, the world’s largest military vehicle extravaganza.
Through Corporate Motion, I offer a comprehensive range of services, including freelance camerawork, editing, and directing. My commitment to providing professional and affordable services is reflected in the positive testimonials from my clients.
My hobby is supporting the UK Garrison, a Star Wars not-for-profit UK costuming organisation sharing a passion for building movie-accurate costumes, raising money for several charities and putting smiles on faces, young and old. More info about this can be read on my UK Garrison page.
