How long does a video production project take?

There is no single production timescale because the schedule depends on the complexity of the brief, the number of filming days, location availability and the amount of post-production required.

A straightforward piece with a clear brief and one filming day can move relatively quickly. Projects involving several locations, multiple contributors, graphics, extensive editing or several approval stages naturally need more time.

The smoothest projects normally begin with an agreed purpose, audience, key messages and delivery date. From there, pre-production, filming, editing, review and final delivery can be planned around the real requirements of the job.

If you have a fixed launch date or event, mention it at the start so the production schedule can be built around it. See Film & Video or contact Corporate Motion.
